Information we use

We use your name, email address, account ID, profile, and the links you choose to add to provide member access. We store music, photos, videos, audio, messages, comments, follows, saves, and support or safety reports that you submit. Listening activity, music preferences, cosigns, and member delivery records support discovery, delivery accounting, and service analytics. Account records include membership, verification status, balance, and transaction history.

We process device and app identifiers, notification tokens, app version and integrity information, and technical request logs to deliver notifications, protect accounts, and diagnose problems. Native apps do not request your location, address book, or advertising identifier. Camera and microphone access is requested when recording; selected media is accessed when you choose to upload it. Notifications are optional and can be disabled in your device settings.

Website accounts and payments

Account creation, paid membership, payment management, and identity verification happen on the website. WorkOS provides authentication. Stripe processes website payments and identity documents. The native apps do not collect payment-card numbers or identity-document images.

How information is shared

Your public profile and approved, funded music can be seen by other Members and, where shared publicly, visitors. Messages are available to their recipients. We use service providers for authentication, hosting, storage, payments, and notification delivery, including Apple and Firebase for device notifications. We share information with them as needed to operate the service, and may disclose information when required by law or necessary to address abuse and protect rights.

8bar does not sell personal data, use it for cross-app advertising tracking, or use uploaded music, account data, or member activity for AI training. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. The service may process information outside your country.

Public music pages

Public delivery pages may record anonymous session, ref, play, completion, share, download, save-click, cosign-click, and join-click events so creators can receive delivery proof without charging included budgets.

Retention and your choices

We retain information while needed to provide your account and the service. You can edit your profile, remove saved music, withdraw device permissions, or request permanent account and data deletion. Deletion includes your profile, uploaded content, messages, and associated personal data. Requests are completed within 30 days and confirmed by email. We retain only records required by law, such as accounting records or records subject to legal preservation, for the required period.

For access, correction, a copy of your data, deletion of specific data, or questions about this policy, contact support@fallsoft.co. General support is available at support@fallsoft.co. We may verify account ownership before fulfilling a request.

8bar is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so that we can investigate and remove it. We will post policy changes on this page and identify the date of the update.
